My Story
Emphasizing a strengths-based approach, Tim focuses on bringing out the authentic voice of communicators. Tim’s clientele includes tech company founders, managers, and individual contributors of all experience levels. Tim particularly enjoys working with introverts, though his coaching approach blends well with a variety of social styles and personality types. Tim has also served as a pitch coach for entrepreneurs at the Nasdaq Entrepreneurship in San Francisco for the past four years.
Tim’s coaching style was refined over years of coaching basketball at the high school and collegiate levels. In coaching student athletes, Tim learned the value of adapting his communication style to the individual, to the team, and to larger audiences. This experience would prove invaluable in his work as a professional trainer and executive coach. The ability to connect, inspire, and lead became the backbone of Tim’s professional coaching practice.
Tim spent the first ten years of his career in biotech and pharmaceutical sales before moving into non-profit development. Most recently, Tim led manager enablement at Stripe, a global fintech company. In this role, he worked closely with cross functional partners in HR, analytics, compensation, and people programs, Tim revamped the company’s core manager training and development curriculum, shifting to an emphasis on the development of coaching skills for managers.
Tim lives in San Francisco with his wife, two daughters and golden retriever.
